DESCRIPTION

Named for a man--Texas-born, ranch-raised in New Mexico, equally at home in a New Orleans evening or a Tuscan hillside--the Coyle was designed to hold all of it. Not a dress shoe that apologizes in the field. Not a casual shoe that buckles under occasion. In Sapphire, it declares without announcing itself: a close-napped Italian calf suede that deepens and softens with wear, built on a Bologna construction that wraps the foot rather than confining it. The four-millimeter softened buffalo sole and memory foam instep cushion make this a shoe for the long day, the long trip, the life that doesn't slow down for footwear.

UPPER: Italian calf suede, close-napped. Small batch.

MADE IN: Outside Florence, in the hills of Tuscany

CONSTRUCTION: Bologna--the upper wraps the foot. No rigid last. No break-in.

SOLE: Softened buffalo leather, 4mm. Flexible, ground-close.

INSOLE: Memory foam cushion at the instep. All-day support.

HARDWARE: Our house signature, dual brass rivets at vamp.

HEEL: Hand-stacked leather. Our Legend boot heritage, carried forward.

FIT: Fit is slim but true to size. Should be snug for the first wear, as the shoe and insole will take shape quickly to the foot.
