DESCRIPTION

The Irving: our refined, four-pocket field coat. A direct descendant of The Trapp, with a traditional shirt collar and functional, action back flange for added movement, a concession to the velocity of modern life.

The Irving is hand-constructed in Italy with 6mm chrome tanned, Wedgewood Calf, New Zealand-sourced suede chosen for its distinct leather and suede sides. There are no secrets here—this skin is completely natural and naked. The body has a boxy, relaxed shape and is unlined for a fluid, unburdened drape. The sleeves are lined to make wearing it over a shirt or sweater a sensual pleasure. With two chest pockets, two hip pockets, a right side internal chest pocket, and a left side internal pocket behind the hip.

The Irving has single needle 1/8” stitching on the top collar, collar stand, patch pockets, pocket flaps, cuffs, waistband, and back yoke, as well as from shoulder to hem band to secure the internal facing. Signature Box Stitch detail on each keyhole-shaped buttonhole. Anchored with genuine buffalo horn buttons, each unique in color and configuration. There are six at center front and one on each pocket flap. In lightweight, Mondrian Grey Calf suede.
