525 Merritt Avenue · Nashville, Tennessee
12 Tickets available
Join Nicolas Beckman of NICK.FLORAL for a floral workshop hosted by Savas in Nashville. His unique process begins with structure—line, movement, and the tension between materials. Working with locally sourced botanicals alongside fresh, dried, and preserved elements, he builds arrangements that feel architectural yet instinctive, embracing the full arc of a flower’s life from bloom to fading petal, seedhead to stem. Participants will create their own arrangement through this lens, exploring gesture, contrast, and the quiet beauty found in impermanence.
Nick Beckman is a Los Angeles–based floral artist whose work sits somewhere between arrangement and installation. Known for botanical compositions that favor truth over polish, his pieces often live in restaurants and public spaces where they soften, fade, and become part of the room’s atmosphere over time. In Los Angeles he is closely associated with chef Nancy Silverton’s restaurants Osteria Mozza and Pizzeria Mozza, where his large-scale dried and preserved installations have become part of the visual language of the spaces. This gathering welcomes both casual and practiced floral designers—a thoughtful, hands-on workshop spent shaping something beautiful that will continue to evolve long after the evening ends.

- A hands-on floral workshop guided by Nick using locally sourced, curated materials and plants
- A personally crafted arrangement to take home

"Nick and I were destined to meet—but I fell in love with his work before we did. I was at iconic Los Angeles chef Nancy Silverton’s Osteria Mozza in West Hollywood one night when I noticed a twelve-foot dried palm sculpture hanging over my head. It was the most incredible thing I’d ever seen. A few months later, after asking Nancy’s team to cater a Savas event, I joined them for dinner at Nancy’s house. I noticed the guy styling the flowers—we were quickly introduced: 'This is Nick. He does florals for Nancy.' I said, 'Wait a minute, you did that big old thing?' We immediately hit it off.
I enlisted Nick to be my partner in creating all the window displays in our Los Angeles store. He would drag in these incredible pieces of dried wood and flowers and recycled glass—we did some beautiful work together. Since closing the L.A. store, I’ve been trying to figure out how to stay connected to the people based there with whom I align creatively and culturally. Nick often teaches classes in Beverly Hills, so I asked if he wanted to come hang with us and do a workshop. He said yes. He’ll forage all day the day before so we’ll have plenty of wild materials as well as fresh, purchased flowers. I can't wait to see what we all create together."

Behind The Process
There’s not one part of our process that doesn’t have the Savas stamp of attention to detail.
This spans everything we do in our construction (material, fit, style, function). And these are our cornerstones, our guiding lights. Our diligence in these domains make our quality what it is and the experience of our pieces one of art and of technical mastery.
Evolution and inspiration are the currents that run through our construction, with a bold base of quality over everything.
Material is our leather, common-sense sustainably sourced, the quality of our hides, the way we stretch our leather, how we process it. The way we’re constantly innovating. Discovering new dyes and ways to stretch ourselves and our artistry.
Fit is never compromising or cutting corners.
Style is how we create pieces that seem defy eras and age to become an extension of you that remains yours for life.
