DESCRIPTION

Some songs don't age. They arrive the thousandth time exactly as they did the first, pulling you back into the room where you first heard them. The Poet is built in that spirit. A quilted chore coat in Wedgewood calf suede, tanned in Italy, its surface polished with mohair, giving it a texture that is impossible to replicate. Diamond quilting, impactful with precision-matched seams, gives the jacket warmth and structure without a gram of bulk. Four layers from shell to Bemberg lining. Buffalo horn buttons, each one steamed, flattened, molded, and drilled from only the solid tips, no two exactly alike. The fit provides a sharp, tailored shoulder with the ease required for a daily winter coat.
